Our address

The Bombeck Family Learning Center is located at 941 Alberta St., on the corner of Stewart and Alberta streets, on the University of Dayton campus.

Hours of operation

The Bombeck Family Learning Center is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday. Families can opt in to early dropoff (7:30-8 a.m.) or late pickup (5-5:30 p.m.) for an additional weekly fee.

We ask that all parents adhere to these hours for drop-off and pickup. Arriving early or late creates a difficult situation for the child, as teachers' responsibilities begin and end at those times. Late fees will be charged for late pickups.

Holiday closures

The Bombeck Family Learning Center's calendar is aligned with the University of Dayton calendar. The Center will be closed on the following dates during the 2024-25 University of Dayton academic year:

• September 2, 2024: Labor Day
• October 7, 2024: Professional Development
• November 28 & 29, 2024: Thanksgiving Break
• December 6, 2024: Feast of the Immaculate Conception

• January 1, 2025: New Year’s Day (observance)
• January 20, 2025: Martin Luther King Jr. Day
• March 21, 2025: Professional Development Day
• April 18, 2025: Good Friday
• May 16, 2025: Professional Development Day
• May 26, 2025: Memorial Day
• June 19, 2025: Juneteenth
• July 4, 2025: Independence Day
