Spring 2015 Issue

Christ is Risen!

Each day the University of Dayton Center for Catholic Education team unwraps the gift of Catholic education and more fully appreciates its impact on our local community, the nation and the world.  In this newsletter you will read about a visit from Bishop Lu of China, our contributions to national Catholic educational publications, blankets of love and prayer for our local community, and other innovations that contribute to zest and new life in Catholic schools.  The blessed Easter season reminds us of the gift of hope the Risen Lord provides.  We have highlighted Alyssa Fligge and Jack Welsh who are young professionals committed to a bright future for Catholic education who inspire us and manifest this gift of hope.

To grow with us please join us in person or on line for the fourth Catholic Education Summit on June 24, 2015 at our River Campus as we explore leadership and family engagement in Catholic education.  Your voice is needed to move the Catholic education community forward.

Other opportunities at the University of Dayton this summer to collaborate and be inspired to act include the St. Remy Initiative Symposium, NCEA Wisdom and Witness Symposium, and the Picture Book Read-In.

Coming soon....Catholic Education Conversations to explore current issues and trends in Catholic education.

Thanks for all you do for Catholic schools!!
