Professional Development Workshop Program

The University of Dayton School of Education and Health Sciences is committed to supporting compassionate professionals in the fields of teaching, higher administration, exercise science and human services by providing opportunities to earn workshop credit toward maintaining licensure renewals. Opportunities to earn professional development workshop credit include attending a workshop or purchasing access to online options for credit.

The University of Dayton — in collaboration with Educational Impact Academy — offers workshop credit for completing a minimum of 12.5 Educational Impact video hours. Educational Impact Academy is a premier online provider of professional development videos for teachers, administrators and university students.

Each course offered is a graduate-level class and accredited by the University of Dayton. Students can earn up to 3 graduate credits in each class while learning unique ways to implement character education into their classrooms, offices, sports teams or extra-curricular activities.

Jim Place Services info

The University of Dayton, in collaboration with the Montgomery County ESC, is offering PD workshop credit for online, on-demand, self-paced Professional Development courses. Learn directly from expert authors, instructor-led video courses accessible 24/7 from anywhere with an Internet connection. You have one year from the purchase date to activate the course, and six months from activation to complete the course.

Transcripted graduate workshop credit

All completed graduate workshops through the University of Dayton School of Education & Health Sciences are awarded non-graded graduate workshop credit or “CR” on official transcripts.

An automatic grade report will be mailed to you approximately one week after the grading period. This report will reflect the credit on your University of Dayton student record. An automatic grade report is not an official transcript.
