For prospective students looking to start in 2025 and beyond: The University of Dayton is pausing admission to most master's degree programs in the Department of Teacher Education as we evaluate our curriculum and offerings. International students
International applicants are required to submit official scores from the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). A minimum TOEFL score of 90 on the Internet-based test is required for admission consideration to an educator preparation program, which leads to a State of Ohio-issued teaching license.
Note: This requirement is specific to the Department of Teacher Education's educator preparation programs. Other graduate programs have different TOEFL requirements.
