Applied Behavior Analysis (MABA)
Learn to influence behavioral growth
As a UD Master of Applied Behavior Analysis (MABA) student, you'll prepare to provide individuals with behavioral problems and their families with effective strategies needed to thrive.
The flexibility of this online program allows you to continue working while you complete the academic preparation and fieldwork experience required to apply to sit for the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) exam.
Students can choose from two tracks to earn their degree:
- Supervised Fieldwork Track (42 credits): In this all-inclusive track, you will complete 1,500 fieldwork hours during the course of the program and receive placement and supervision support from faculty and dedicated placement specialists.
- Independent Fieldwork Track (30 credits): In this track for professionals currently working at a behavior analysis site, you will complete 600 fieldwork hours during the course of the program and have the flexibility to complete 900 fieldwork hours independently.
The Association for Behavior Analysis International has verified courses in the University of Dayton Applied Behavior Analysis program toward the coursework requirements for eligibility to take the Board Certified Behavior Analyst® examination.
Applicants will need to meet additional requirements before they can be deemed eligible to take the examination.
