Counseling Center FAQ

If you anticipate or experience physical or academic barriers based on disability, please let your instructor know immediately so you can discuss options. You're also welcome to contact the LTC's Office of Learning Resources to discuss reasonable accommodations.

Dublin students can schedule an appointment to meet with the OLR staff on UD's Main Campus, or a phone appointment with one of the OLR's experienced disability professionals. Call 937-229-2066 (TTY 937-229-2059 for deaf/hard of hearing) or email disabilityservices@udayton.edu. If you have an Accommodation Letter provided by OLR, please contact your instructor to coordinate accommodations.

SensusAccess software is also available through the Office of Learning Resources. The goal is to increase accessibility and independence. For students, this will allow you to upload and convert documents independently into a variety of formats (MP3, PDF, Word, etc.). For faculty & staff, this allows the ability to transform a document into a format that is accessible to students with disabilities.

Office of Learning Resources

The University of Dayton School of Education and Health Sciences is committed to providing equal access to its programs, facilities and employment without regard to race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, physical disability or mental disability (unless the disability is essential to the practice of counseling), or identification as a disabled veteran.

The UD Multi-Ethnic Education and Engagement Center collaborates with campus and community partners to support academic achievement, celebrate inclusivity, and cater to the cultural needs of a diverse community of scholars.
