Christine currently serves as the Associate Vice President of Student Development and Dean of Students. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Communication and a Master of Arts in College and University Administration from Michigan State University.

She is responsible for multiple departments in the division of Student Development which include the Department of Housing and Residence Life, Office of Community Standards and Civility, Multi-Ethnic Education and Engagement Center, Crisis Care and Case management which involves The Campus Response and Evaluation (CARE) Team.

Throughout her tenure at the University of Dayton, Ms. Schramm has participated in initiatives that have enhanced student learning and contributed to the Marianist identity of the university. Some of her accomplishments include collaborating with Campus Ministry and Student Development to formulate and assist in the writing of the Commitment to Community document that has become foundational to the university.

In 2017, she received the Miryam Award through her support for the advancement of women on the UD campus. The highlight of her career was in February 2011 when she was awarded one of the university’s highest recognition, The Lackner Award as recognition for her contributions to the Catholic and Marianist character of the University of Dayton.
