Lindsay Elrod Maxam serves as the Assistant Dean of Students for Advocacy and Intervention and non-clinical case manager for the Dean of Students Office.  Through this role, Assistant Dean Maxam primarily works with students in distress or at risk by coordinating prevention, intervention, and support efforts across campus and throughout the Dayton community. Additionally, Assistant Dean Maxam fosters self-advocacy skills in students to manage their academic and personal growth and advocates for all students systemically. 

Assistant Dean Maxam earned her bachelor's degree from the College of Charleston and master's degree from the University of South Carolina.  Assistant Dean Maxam is currently pursuing her doctorate in educational leadership at the University of Dayton.
