I’m very excited to spend my internship year at the University of Dayton! I love working with students to help them develop coping mechanisms and strategies to overcome any barriers they might come across. My theoretical approach is integrative, as I utilize techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and person-centered therapy and work to make every treatment plan specific to each client to meet their needs. My specific areas of interest include depression, anxiety, grief, LGBTQ+ concerns, women’s issues, identity development, and adjustment to life changes. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends and my cat, Millie, playing video games, thrifting, embroidery, painting, and going to concerts.
