College is an exciting, challenging, and life-changing experience, and it’s normal to seek some extra support along the way. As a clinician at the Counseling Center, I find it to be a privilege to walk with students as they encounter a range of concerns and opportunities and learn to thrive.
I previously worked in community mental health, where I provided home-, office-, and jail-based clinical services to individuals struggling with mental health and substance use issues. I really enjoy working with UD students, tapping into their strengths and enhancing their connection to the broader UD community. Clinically, I utilize an integrative approach with elements of cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and dialectical behavioral therapy. I have experience in treating anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, psychosis, and suicidal thoughts.
In my free time, I enjoy biking, chasing around two toddlers, and listening to episodes of “Wait Wait Don’t Tell Me.”
