I am originally from Mumbai, India and have worked within the healthcare system in India before moving to the United States for my doctoral degree. I am currently a third-year doctoral candidate at The George Washington University in Washington, DC. My clinical experience includes working in community mental health, university counseling, and inpatient psychiatric settings. My work is guided by a foundation in relational psychodynamic therapy. My areas of interest include immigration, trauma, interpersonal and relational issues, and issues of identity development within a non-native context. I use an integrative approach to best fit the clients' needs and build a strong therapeutic relationship. I am multilingual and able to conduct therapy in English, Marathi, and Hindi.

In my free time I love to bake, spend time with my friends, or watch a good bollywood movie!
