Student Development: Campus Recreation

Parker serves as the Assistant Director of Outdoor Education, for Campus Recreation. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Recreation and Parks Management at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and his Masters in Recreation and Sports Leadership from James Madison University. Parker is passionate about leadership development and empowering the next generation. He believes that the experience gained through outdoor adventures develops and refines character, and connects people in powerful ways. As the Assistant Director of Outdoor Education, Parker will build upon the foundation of a program with an emphasis on adventure, environmental awareness, challenge, education, personal development, group formation, leadership, safety, and fun.
