Personal History

Rev. Dustin J. Pickett joins the UD Campus Ministry team as the Campus Minister for Christian Diversity and Ecumenical Ministry. A native of North Carolina, Rev. Dustin is a graduate of Winston-Salem State University with a Bachelors of Science in Marketing and Duke Divinity School, receiving a Masters in Divinity. While at Duke, Dustin served as Assistant Black Campus Minister and a Graduate Fellow for the Mary Lou Williams Center for Black Culture. Rev. Pickett comes to the University of Dayton after serving at The Riverside Church in the City of New York as their Associate Minister of Stewardship and Development. 

Reverend Pickett is an ordained Baptist minister, with a passion for social justice, community uplift, and leadership development. Dustin enjoys cooking, catch up on the latest Netflix craze, and listening to vinyl records - isn't that the best way to listen to good music?
