Campus Ministry: Center for Social Concern
Personal History
Sr. Emily is a Campus Ministry Graduate Assistant in the Center for Social Concern and Stuart Hall who currently is pursuing a Master's degree in Pastoral Ministry. She is also a Marianist Sister inspired by Marianist founder Fr. Chaminade’s call to be missionaries wherever we are. She grew up in Indiana and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Communications from Ball State University in 2008. After that, she worked in graphic design in Chicago for one year and then moved to southern California. There, she worked in healthcare and volunteered at Catholic Charities and in her local parish’s young adult ministry, RCIA, communications ministry, and as a lector. These experiences led her to see the deep connection between faith and social justice. Sr. Emily joined the Marianist Sisters in 2017 and professed vows in 2020. She currently lives in Dayton with the Marianist Sisters.
