Adjunct Professor of Law

  • Adjunct

Mike is a partner with Miller, Walker & Brush. He has achieved winning outcomes for criminal, civil and domestic relations clients in statewide municipal & common pleas courts, the Second District Court of Appeals and the Ohio Supreme Court. Mike brings a practical, outcome-driven approach to serve his clients’ interests that has been described as “a personal connection like no other lawyer” by his clients and an “aggressive representation with personal service” by his peers. Injured victims have recovered well over $1 million through Mike’s representation in auto accident, dog bite, product liability and discrimination claims. He has successfully handled a variety of business litigation cases, ranging from partnership disputes to enforcing a non-compete agreement for a nationally recognized hair stylist. Some of his biggest wins, though, have come by representing people at their most challenging moments, such as guiding spouses through the trying experience of divorce. Or when he successfully had a criminal conviction reversed by the Ohio Supreme Court in just his second year of practice. Mike can formulate the right game plan to best fit the individual and unique needs of clients, in an efficient manner. When litigation becomes necessary, he draws on his experience in the courtroom to craft effective strategies producing outcomes worthy of his clients’ trust.

Mike uses his experience as an attorney to help the greater community. He is the legal counsel for homeowner associations, condominium owner associations, and housing cooperatives. He teaches real estate law classes for those seeking their real estate license through the Dayton Area Board of Realtors. He is an adjunct professor at Sinclair Community College, teaching business law. He is Secretary to the Board of Trustees for the Dayton Bar Association Foundation. Mike also serves on the Board of Trustees for Friends of the Castle, a local safe haven for adults with mental disorders. Mike regularly acts as an advocate, teacher, coach, trustee & mentor and applies the tools gained in each capacity to serve his clients.
