Profile
Marissa joined the School of Law in May 2022. She helps administer programming and daily operations of the Bar Passage Program. She assists law students and graduates with questions related to the bar passage application, procedures, and success strategies leading up to taking the bar exam. She is an ardent advocate for student success and is dedicated to engaging directly with students to help them achieve positive academic and career outcomes.
Marissa is a seasoned higher education professional with early career work as a paralegal. Prior to joining the School of Law, Marissa was the program manager of the EdD degree program in the School of Education and Health Sciences at the University of Dayton. She was also the program coordinator for the Core Integrated Studies Program in the UD College of Arts and Sciences where she also served as an academic advisor for Discover Arts students and taught a first-year experience course. She is especially committed to the university’s vocation discernment initiatives for students, staff, and faculty, having served on the Vocation Implementation Team.
