Profile

Professor Valerie Inman is a licensed attorney and a graduate of the University of Dayton School of Law.

Professor Inman’s experience is focused in the areas of public service and education. As an employee of the Department of Defense she negotiated contracts between the government and private defense industry corporations. In addition to applying general contract principles, Professor Inman’s position also required specialized knowledge of government-specific rules and regulations. Her daily work included a full range of acquisition-related tasks: drafting contractual language; application of federal regulations; and monitoring contractual compliance following a contract award.

Prior to this, Professor Inman clerked for the Hon. Connie S. Price and Magistrate Kristi McCartney of the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas.

Professor Inman currently serves as the UDSL Leadership Honors Program Mentor Coordinator and as Adjunct Professor of Law.

She graduated from UDSL where she served on the editorial board of the UDSL Law Review as the Outside Articles Editor and was named the outstanding editor in her final semester of service. Professor Inman was also a member of the Moot Court Team and a legal profession teaching assistant.
