Profile

Jasmin is an attorney working in the New Ventures practice group at Thompson Hine LLP. Her multi-faceted practice includes advising companies of all sizes, from startups and small businesses to large private companies, regarding entity structure, formation, governance and financing, as well as business and commercial document preparation. Her practice also focuses on intellectual property and corporate and business matters. Jasmin represents clients across many industries, including food and beverage, health care, media and technology, retail and nonprofit. Drawing upon the experience acquired from both her military and legal careers, Jasmin also advises women-, minority- and Veteran-owned businesses in business certification matters at the local, state and national levels and provides support during the application process.

Prior to entering law school, Jasmin worked in health and safety and business development for an industrial cleaning company based in Columbus, Ohio. She also served in the United States Army, where she held various military leadership roles, including platoon leader in the military police, executive officer and battalion plans officer. Jasmin is a combat veteran and a recipient of a Bronze Star.

When not involved in Ohio State Bar Association activities or volunteering for Veteran-focused organizations, Jasmin enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children.
