Todd Carver serves on Teradata’s global Leadership Team and Law Department Leadership Team as the deputy general counsel and chief ethics and compliance officer.

He established Teradata’s global Ethics & Compliance Office and wrote and implemented the Teradata Values Statement and Code of Conduct. In addition, he leads the group of legal professionals who handle litigation, dispute, investigation, employment law and patent licensing matters for Teradata.

Professor Carver has 30 years of law-related experience, including 23 years with NCR/AT&T/Teradata. Carver is a leading expert in alternative dispute resolution (ADR), negotiation, litigation management, outside counsel management, intellectual property disputes and licensing, quantitative litigation risk analysis, and technology contracting.

He has been an adjunct professor of law for 12 years at the University of Dayton School of Law, where he also serves on the Advisory Council.

He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree (cum laude) in political science from Wright State University and a Juris Doctorate (magna cum laude) from the University of Dayton School of Law. He served on Law Review and Moot Court.
