Profile
Nicholas Taggart is the Director of the Intensive English Program at University of Dayton. He holds a master’s degree in Applied Linguistics and has been in the field of TESL/TEFL for over eighteen years. His experience includes teaching, program development and administration, curriculum design, development, and implementation, teacher training, and program accreditation. He has taught both English as a second language in the U.S. and English as a foreign language in Korea and Oman. Additionally, his work and career have provided opportunities to attend and present at international and regional conferences in the USA, Canada, and Morocco. Nicholas’ areas of interest include ESL vocabulary and grammar instruction, applied pragmatics, semantics, morphology, socio-linguistics, and program administration. He also currently serves on the Ohio State Advisory Board for the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition (USGLC) and is a Director at Large on the Board of Directors for EnglishUSA.
