Profile
Tina Kosobud is the Administrative and Systems Coordinator for the Global and Intercultural Affairs (GIA) Center at the University of Dayton. She is part of the team that provides Faculty-Led Programs, semester-long exchanges, oversees risk management, and the Integrated Travel System. Tina’s interest in study abroad is due to a mix of living internationally and her love for travel. She is a veteran spouse, as well as a missionary/military kid, which has allowed her to live in countries such as Japan and Spain. As a world traveler and educator, working at the GIA center is the perfect place to utilize her skillset and knowledge. As the Administrative and Systems Coordinator, she works behind the scenes to provide support through budgeting, handling travel applications and providing advice for travel questions when needed. Before joining the GIA Center team, she taught high school biology and special education outside of Washington DC, as well as in Ohio. Tina specialized in inclusion for special education and ESOL (English as second Language). Combining her appreciation for diversity and education with her Business Administration background, Tina’s able to adapt and relate to all walks of life. She will forever be a lifelong learner.
