Profile
Erin Gahimer joined the GIA Center in June 2016 and currently serves as the Senior Programs Coordinator focusing on short-term, faculty-led programming. Erin is a 2013 University of Dayton graduate who during her time as a student traveled to Segovia, Spain on a short-term program as well as to Madrid, Spain for a semester at La Universidad Pontifica de Comillas. In 2013, Erin worked as an English teaching assistant in Buenos Aires, Argentina with the local Marianist community. With travel experience to 21 countries across 5 continents, Erin brings a wealth of international experiences to her work. Erin is passionate about global citizenship, people-to-people diplomacy, social justice, multiculturalism, and issues of diversity and inclusion. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, exercising, keeping up her Spanish language skills, and, of course, traveling!
Erin is currently on leave March - November 2022, engaging in a Fulbright opportunity in Argentina.
