Profile

Jon Borgwardt is an employee of UD for 37 years. He began his career in the US Army as a logistics specialist and subsequently began work at UD as an inventory clerk in UDRI's Property Records Office. He ascended through the ranks of the Purchasing & Property Records Office. First, as Property Administrator, then as Purchasing Manager and finally as Director, RI Procurement & Property Records Management. He has presided over transitions from manual systems to implementations of progressively more capable and sophisticated automated systems. He specializes in DoD compliance in both purchasing and property records for government-furnished and contractor-acquired equipment.
