Finance and Administrative Services: Human Resources

As the Director of Labor and Employee Relations, Teshia serves as a member of the senior leadership team, providing advice to the Vice President and serves as a strategic business partner for the University community to include specific support for the areas of Facilities Management & Planning, Finance and Administrative Services, Dining Services, Public Safety, Parking Services, UDit and University Advancement. She holds primary responsibility for administration, interpretation and negotiation of the University’s Collective Bargaining Agreement, managing grievances and labor disputes and supporting the formal discipline process for units covered by a collective bargaining agreement. Employee relations management includes providing consultation and direction for all matters related to performance management, workplace conflict resolution, workplace accommodations, exit interviews and ensuring compliance with University policies and procedures, the National Labor Relations Board as well as Federal and state laws.
