Why UD?

I chose UD because of the collaborative student environment that has propelled my success tremendously. With the class sizes being rather small, I always feel like I have a relationship with the professor an they know who I am. This has enabled me to get the support I need from them throughout the year.

Why did you choose engineering? Why UD engineering?

I chose engineering because of the passion for innovation I have. More specifically, I chose chemical engineering because of the versatility a chemical engineer has in industry. I chose UD engineering because of their emphasis on experiential learning and collaboration.

What is your favorite part of UD?

My favorite part about UD is the community here. No matter where I am at on campus, I always feel like I am part of a family. Even with students coming from all walks of life and different corners of the world, the campus always feels like home.

What advice would you give high school students?

Find the campus environment that's right for you. Being able to feel comfortable and supported in your day to day life is crucial in your overall success as a student.
