Why UD?
The people. When I came and visited UD, the students we passed on our tour acknowledged each other and us, which to me is the best example visiting students can see of our community on campus.
Why did you choose engineering? Why UD engineering?
Understanding how things work. UD engineering creates a culture that focuses on collaboration, not competition. This mindset is great not just to have in school, but is highly valued by companies when it comes to hiring engineers.
What is your favorite part of UD?
My favorite part about UD is the community. Being able to sit on my porch and strike up conversations as friends walk past is one of my favorite things to do in the afternoons when the weather is nice.
What advice would you give high school students?
Learn to listen to not just your mind, but also your heart.
