Why UD?
UD allowed me to continue to play the violin while still being an engineer.
Why did you choose engineering? Why UD engineering?
UD has a non-competitive engineering environment. Everyone wants you to succeed in your studies here. The culture in the School of Engineering is very much one that supports everyone. Your professors want you to succeed in their classes. Their doors are always open when students are struggling either with class or personal life.
What is your favorite part of UD?
My favorite part of UD is all of the opportunities to get involved. It is very doable to balance class with extracurriculars.
What advice would you give high school students?
You don't have to be the smartest person in the world to succeed in an engineering program. You just have to work hard and show up. Think about that when looking at schools. Would you be more successful in a competitive atmosphere? That's a big thing to think about when looking at different universities.
