Bio

Dr. Feng Ye received a Ph.D. degree from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln (UNL), Omaha, NE, USA, 2015 and a B.S. degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai, China, 2011. From 2015 to 2016, he was with the Department of ECE, UNL as an instructor and a researcher. In 2016, he joined the University of Dayton, Dayton, OH, USA, where he is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of ECE. His research interests include wireless communications and networks, green ICT, machine/deep learning in networking, information and network security, big data and smart city, and smart grid communications. He has published 60+ papers in reputable journal/conferences. He currently serves as the Vice Chair (Americas) of the IEEE TCGCC. He is an Associate Editor of the IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology, IEEE Internet of Things Journal, and IEEE/CIC China Communications. He is a Column Editor of the IEEE Wireless Communications. He serves and has served as co-chair for IEEE VTC’21 Fall Spectrum Management, Radio Access Technology, Services and Security Track; IEEE ICC 2021 Green Communication Systems and Networks Symposium; IEEE VTC’2021 Spectrum Management, Radio Access Technology, Services and Security Track; IEEE CloudNet 2019 Publicity, ICNC’19 Signal Processing for Communications Symposium; IEEE CBDCom 2018 Publicity Co-Chair; and IEEE ICC 2018 Cognitive Radio and Networking Symposium. He also serves as a TPC member for numerous international conferences, including INFOCOM, GLOBECOM, VTC, ICC, etc. He is a reviewer for several IEEE journals, including IEEE Transactions on Green Communications and Networking, IEEE Transactions on Big Data, IEEE Transactions on Smart Grid, IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology, IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications, etc. He was awarded the 2020 IEEE Dayton Section Ravi Pallerla Memorial Award for Young Professionals, the Distinguished Member of INFOCOM 2019 TPC, and was the recipient of the 2015 Top Reviewer of the IEEE Vehicular Technology Society.
