Like many in the UD community, I’m a transplant from somewhere else. Born and raised in Milwaukee, WI, I came to Dayton by way of Iowa City, IA, Chicago, IL, and Worcester, MA. Along the way, I have been blessed to have great work experiences in many different industries.

My last three positions were related to higher education. I always say, “who doesn’t love to come to college every day?” I sure do! My career in higher ed has been in supporting administrative roles, which I love because, like a chameleon, I can adapt to advance the mission.

At the University of Dayton, we work to improve each student’s learning experience. Through our work with the Kern Entrepreneurial Engineering Network (KEEN), we aim to graduate engineers with an entrepreneurial mindset, so they can create personal, economic and societal value through a lifetime of meaningful work. That is a mission that anyone can get behind. Although I’m an “engineer helper” (my job according to my young daughter), I try to apply this to the work I do every day.

Bachelor of Business Administration, Management & Organizations, University of Iowa, Go Hawks!
