I have called Beavercreek home for 21 years after relocating from San Diego, Calif. My position at Reynolds & Reynolds brought our family to the Dayton area, and we have never looked back!  It’s a great place to live, learn and raise a family!

As the senior administrative assistant in graduate engineering, I work directly with the Associate Dean for Research and Innovation, Bob Wilkens, Ph.D., P.E. My primary responsibilities are graduate student initiatives including recruitment, retention, scholarships and probation; processing of graduate student documentation; certifying and clearing students for graduation; and maintaining records that support researchers involving research contracts. I bring over 20 years of experience in administrative office management, budget and fiscal oversight, and customer support to the School of Engineering.

I love working at the University of Dayton because of the true commitment to learning and living in community. We are held to high standards; academically, morally and spiritually. We are all equals, called to treat each life we touch with the same value and respect; regardless of any differences in gender, race, religion or creed, we all share “humanity” in common. We are called to be honest and truthful, take responsibility for self and community and practice servant leadership. It’s more than academics here. It’s the “whole person." It’s the “broader impact." It’s “making the world a better place," and I am proud to play a small role in supporting our students.
