Why I Love UD
I love UD because the moment I stepped foot on campus it felt like home. Everyone was so welcoming and the friends I made while attending UD are ones I'll cherish for a lifetime. Plus, everywhere I go I know I can find a fellow Flyer and instantly feel welcomed!
Biography
B.S. University of Dayton, 2018
I was born and raised in Cleveland, OH and had heard about UD from family and friends. I toured dozens of schools and never felt more at home than when I stepped foot on UD's campus. Like many students, I went into college thinking I wanted to pursue a career in medicine. My time at UD opened up my eyes to other career fields and by my junior year I was looking for internships and classes that pertained more to my new passion for working in the nonprofit sector. My first job out of college was at a blood cancer organization where I helped lead and guide high school students through the fundraising process. While I enjoyed supporting the mission of the organization I realized that what I really loved about my job was working with the students. Since that realization I've felt called to pursue a career in higher education so I can work with students and their families directly. When I saw that UD was looking for a Regional Enrollment Manager based in Cleveland I knew I had to apply (when else could I work for UD AND live in Cleveland?!). I'm so excited to represent UD in my hometown and look forward to sharing all that UD has to offer with students in the Northeast Ohio area and beyond!
