Michelle has more than 20 years of experience working in the early childhood education field. She started her career working for Head Start in 1997. Over the years, she has worked with infants, toddlers, preschoolers and school-age children.

She began working at the Bombeck Family Learning Center in 2006 as a preschool teacher in the Explorer room. She took time off to stay home with her two boys, then returned to the Center in 2009 as a teacher in the Jet classroom. She became the center's interim director in February 2016 and was hired as the director in July 2016.
