Profile

After growing up in a cornfield in Ohio, I wanted to see the world. I decided to major in Spanish, so I could study abroad in Central America. I loved every minute of it and ended up pursuing a Masters in TESOL, so I could continue traveling, learning, and teaching. I spent a summer teaching in South Korea and a year teaching in the Dominican Republic.  After my year abroad, I moved to Chicago, where I taught ESL at private language schools and colleges. I have also taught TEFL certificate courses both in a classroom and online. I have now come full circle and returned to Ohio where I teach in the Intensive English Program at the University of Dayton.
