B.S. in Communications and Psychology, Grace College

Professional Experience

Matthew's career began in corporate recruiting for Reynolds & Reynolds in Dayton, Ohio. He then worked in enrollment management for Grace College and the University of Cincinnati before serving as the associate director of recruitment for Cedarville University. In this role, he facilitated the hiring, training, and professional development of multiple teams as well as executed national college fairs throughout the state of Ohio. During his graduate studies at the University of Dayton, Matthew held the graduate assistant career advisor position within Career Services and served as the interim career advisor to the School of Business Administration. He also taught the mini-course, How to Choose a Major, for first and second year students unsure of which vocational paths to pursue. Matthew is currently a member of both the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) and the Midwest Association of Colleges and Employers (MWACE), having served as the co-chair of the MWACE Professional Development Committee for two years. He is certified in the Strong Interest Inventory and has participated in the NACE Career Coaching Intensive (CCI) training.
