Profile

Sr. Laura Coughlin is interested in any area of history, but particularly modern Italian and church history. This intersects with her dissertation topic. She enjoys reading the works of Catholic mystics and values their contribution to her study of the Bible. More recently appreciated authors include Joseph Ratzinger/Pope Benedict, James Kugel, Augusto Del Noce, Joshua Cohen, Richard Rothstein, Eamon Duffy and Herbert McCabe.
