Faculty perspective

"My approach to teaching involves meeting students where they are and partnering with them to achieve goals, ones they have for themselves as well as ones we create together, resulting in students gaining the confidence in their own ability to understand and appropriately respond to each new situation or musical setting they may find themselves in. Introducing students to new tools, techniques and new ways to approach their progress and ultimate success gives me great satisfaction and helps students gain mastery over themselves, their instruments and any other impediment to becoming the musician they ultimately want to be."
