Profile

Danny Bean is an award-winning student, leader, writer, researcher and community servant. A first-generation college student, they took full advantage of their liberal arts experience during their undergraduate study at Wittenberg University, leading multiple clubs and participating in study-away experiences in Lesotho and Washington, D.C. As a life-long learner, they were able to graduate from Wittenberg summa cum laude with two majors and five minors, university honors and departmental honors in Philosophy. They currently work as the Public Humanities and Special Events Graduate Assistant at the University of Dayton’s Fitz Center for Leadership in Community and are studying to receive their MSE in Higher Education and Student Affairs to continue promoting their passion for educating others.
