What do you like most about your major?

I like how the same small group of us have been together since ASI 150. We are a smaller major, so we are able to get together and stay in touch even if we are not in the same classes.

What do you love most about UD?

I love how anyone is able to find a group of people that make them feel comfortable and confident. Whether that be in a club, a sport or a fraternity, the opportunity is present for all students on campus.

Have you ever studied abroad? If so, where and what did you learn most from that experience?

I went to Germany this summer, and I learned that while cultural differences are present, we are all humans who have shared experiences.

Favorite class at UD and why?

My favorite class has been POL 320, European Politics and Society. I like it because it covers topics I am personally interested in, and allowed me to explore a topic in depth with a research paper.

What piece of your academic journey has you most prepared to begin a career after graduation?

Participating in the DC Flyers program. It allowed me to gain work experience, network in Washington D.C., and show that I can live on my own in a major city.

What clubs/organizations are you involved in at UD?

  • Model United Nations (president)
  • Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Fraternity (recruitment chair)
  • University Libraries Committee
  • Presidents Emissary
  • CAS Ambassador

Why did you choose UD?

I chose UD because when I stepped on campus, it just felt right. I felt like I was at a place that was relaxed, but knew when to take things seriously. The environment on campus is what sold me. And that was before learning about all of the awesome programs and opportunities we offer.

Is there anything else about your UD experience you think prospective students and their families should know?

I think that people should know that there will be a place for you on campus where people will be willing to support you.
