What do you love most about UD?

The thing I love most about UD is how supported I feel in all of my endeavors. My classmates, friends, advisers and professors make me feel encouraged and uplifted in an academic and personal sense. UD really does feel like home.

Favorite class at UD and why?

My favorite class at UD has been Dr. Kadowaki's Law & Society Sociology course. I learned a lot about how law has impacted the way that our society functions and grows. It was also great because we learned about social justice issues associated with law (how it can be dysfunctional as well as functional), rather than simply how law works within society.

What clubs/organizations are you involved in at UD?

  • Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Fraternity
  • Phi Alpha Theta History Honor Society

Why did YOU choose UD?

I chose UD for two main reasons: I loved the sense of community on campus and the institution provides great financial support for school.

What do you like most about your major?

The thing I like most about my History major is the breadth of topics that I get to learn about. UD offers a wide variety of courses that cover diverse places and periods throughout history. The thing I like most about my Sociology major is how applicable many of the courses are to my life and career aspirations. There is a lot of variety in the Sociology courses that UD offers, and I learn a lot about the people and the world around me.

What piece of your academic journey has you most prepared to begin a career after graduation?

I think that my internship/experiential learning through the Pre-Law program has helped to prepare me most for a career after graduation.
