What do you love most about UD?

I love the mutual understanding that most everyone on campus seems to share that we are all coming from different backgrounds and we're here on campus to learn with each other and from each other.

What do you like most about your major?

My favorite part about the CIS major is how much flexibility there is with which classes I can take to achieve my degree.

Favorite class at UD and why?

My favorite class so far is Theatre Appreciation. I took it to fulfill my CAP Arts Requirement, and I liked it because we had to watch and reflect on shows that we could watch online or in person. Since I did theater in high school, I enjoyed being able to earn credit for doing what I already love doing. I also met some great people in my class, and since it wasn't a hard math or computer science class, I always looked forward to the next class session.

What piece of your academic journey has you most prepared to begin a career after graduation?

I joined Epsilon Nu Tau, which is the Entrepreneurship Focused Fraternity on campus. I would say, so far, ENT has prepared me to begin a career after graduation because, already in my first two semesters of being a member, I've been able to listen to many different speakers come talk about what they do for work and what they did to get themselves there. In addition to having speakers, we also do professional development activities and the upperclassmen are all super willing to help with anything I need as far as resume development or LinkedIn support.

Why did you choose UD?

I chose UD because it was the perfect combination of being far enough from my hometown, having a great program and having a warm and welcoming feeling that other colleges I seriously considered didn't necessarily give me.
