What do you like most about your major?

The creativity the major offers and how versatile the spaces are for public relations.

What do you love most about UD?

I love the amount of opportunities UD has to offer. Whether it's study abroad or clubs, there are endless ways to become involved and also learn more about yourself through these opportunities and groups. The university does an excellent job of ensuring you are aware of every opportunity.

Favorite class at UD and why?

The simplicity of CMM 100 was something I enjoyed as a freshman unsure of how college worked. My professor, Natasha Baker,  was truly the most incredible professor, as she made it her mission to make sure everyone understood the objectives for the class and that everyone succeeded. Public speaking is not always the easiest thing for everyone, so having a class where you had to speak, but also learn more about speaking and communication is crucial in college.

What piece of your academic journey has you most prepared to begin a career after graduation?

I'm only a sophomore, but so far Co-Pilots has become incredibly impactful to me. The opportunity to educate my peers on such important topics like mental health and holistic wellbeing is something I do not take lightly, but also something that prepares me for real-world conversations and struggles.

What clubs/organizations are you involved in at UD?

  • Co-Pilots
  • CAS Ambassador
  • Flyer PR
  • SGA
  • President's Emissaries
  • BATU
  • Thrifting Club

Why did you choose UD?

The number of staff and faculty who came around me and promised support and encouragement throughout my time here. I immediately felt less like a number because people were invested in my future.

Is there anything else about your UD experience you think prospective students and their families should know?

Give UD a chance, especially if you are local. I immediately blew the idea of attending UD off due to my proximity, but the second I took a tour and met people I knew it was the place for me.
