What do you like most about the minor?
I like that I get to utilize a different way of thinking through math and graphs alongside conceptual problems in my Economics major. My Pre-Law minor really helps offset this and gives me a break from all the math I do on a daily basis.
What do you love most about UD?
Academically, I love how interconnected the different schools are and how you get to meet so many people with other majors through different opportunities inside and outside your classes.
Have you ever studied abroad? If so, where and what did you learn most from that experience?
I studied abroad in Barcelona, Spain, after my sophomore year in Summer 2023. I took Marketing, Management and Professional Writing and it offered so much experiential learning for each and every one of those courses. I really got to experience everything Barcelona had to offer through the business lens.
Favorite class at UD and why?
My favorite class I've taken was Legal Research and Writing. It really helped hone skills I will need for law school while still being fun.
What piece of your academic journey has you most prepared to begin a career after graduation?
The Pre-Law fraternity Phi Alpha Delta has helped me grow the most during my undergraduate years. I joined as a freshman and it exposed me to so many different people whose perspectives on life helped me decide what I wanted to pursue after graduating.
What clubs/organizations are you involved in at UD?
- Phi Alpha Delta (Pre-Law fraternity, president)
- Phi Chi Theta (business fraternity, New Member Education chair)
- Orientation (logistics leader)
- CAS Ambassador
Why did you choose UD?
I went to a very big high school in Texas and I thought that going to a smaller undergrad would feel very comforting and introduce me to new experiences and a different social life. In addition to this, my grandparents met here and my mom is an alum as well.
