"The most beautiful thing that evening was, of course, the bride. A close second is the scenery, particularly the outside walkway. The trees were adorned with flowers at the bottom, the benches and stonework were meticulously kept, and the water around what can only be described as a little island was such a subtle, fantastic touch. Inside, the focus was much more on the people and refreshments. We didn't get a formal dinner, but we did get some of the finest hors d'oeuvres I've ever had. Chef Scott and the leadership team kept strong communication with us the entire time and prepared everything perfectly. The layout was organized according to what we as a group, not just the Curran leadership, thought would be best according to what we were trying to put together. The staff overseeing the event were also absolutely wonderful. We ran into a difficulty with the gate being closed, but, because I was given a way to contact not only the groundskeeper, but also the head of security, we were welcomed and ready within five minutes of recognizing the issue. We were able to input our decorations onto the table, we had an emcee able to use the equipment within Curran Place to put on music and lighting, and the support staff of the event ensured we never wanted for anything.
In summary, when making decisions regarding our wedding, I made the decisions I did based on doing right by my bride. While this decision was a group decision by myself and my wife, I can firmly say Curran Place did right by my bride, myself, and our friends and family. It was and almost certainly will be forever our favorite wedding we've ever attended and we wouldn't have changed a single thing."

  • A Short Term Lease Agreement and Certificate of Insurance are required (provided upon booking)
  • All food and beverage service must be provided by UD Catering Services; requests must be made two weeks or ten business days prior to the event date (catering amenities: black or white linen table cloths/linen napkins, glass and china, serviceware)
