Dear parents and guardians,

We appreciate your patience as we waited for public health guidance and approval about Ohio’s reopening procedures. As you will see in the email below sent to your student(s) this morning, we now have approval from public health officials to allow students to retrieve their belongings through a phased approach.

It is important to note access to housing for moving out will only be granted during your student's specific assigned period. Your student(s) can visit their My Housing portal to schedule their move-out.

Please bring face masks or coverings because visitors to campus must wear one at all times and adhere to physical distancing guidelines while you are on campus as a health precaution against COVID-19. Being the University for the common good means keeping all Flyers safe.

While we will be communicating with you over the coming weeks as we work toward on-campus instruction in the fall, UD continues to provide academic, faith and mental health resources for you and your student(s) even though we are apart at this time. Email housing@udayton.edu if you need further assistance with move out.

You can read the complete message to students about move out here.

Sincerely,

William M. Fischer, J.D.
