Southwest Ohio County-Wide Virtual Career Fairs

JobsOhio and Dayton Development Coalition are working with the Southwestern Ohio Council for Higher Education (SOCHE) to grow the workforce in Ohio by hosting county-wide virtual career fairs to connect companies with job seekers.

DePaul University Virtual Career Fair

DePaul University's School of Hospitality Leadership invites UD students to attend this virtual career fair. The fair has opportunities for business and communication students looking for part-time, full-time, internships and summer employment.

JobsOhio Virtual Job Fair

February 2, 2021 from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

OH•Zone Virtual Job Fair sponsored by JobsOhio, Dayton Development Coalition, Southwestern Council For Higher Education, Darke and Prebble Counties economic development, and Ohio Means Jobs organizations are excited to host a virtual job fair.

The entirely virtual, online event will feature over 20 Darke and Prebble County companies seeking to fill more than 200 positions in STEM and non-STEM career fields. This one-day virtual event will connect job-seekers to the area’s leading employers—including Silfex, Parker Hannifin, Lewisburg Container, Midmark, and many more in-demand industries. Participating employers will have virtual booths featuring their open positions at varying experience levels.

Job seekers are encouraged to register for the event early to upload their resume and qualifications, explore companies and open positions and sign-up to receive alerts and reminders leading up to and throughout the event.

Southern Teachers Virtual Job Fair

Southern Teachers continues to work with teachers looking for jobs at K-12 private/independent schools. Member schools are seeking mid-year teachers as well as teachers to join their school communities for the 2021-22 academic year. School administrators will be interviewing to fill great teaching jobs at this hiring event.

Award of Excellence - Student Projects

nominations due March 3, 2021

Student teams or individuals can be nominated for their outstanding work to be recognized at the 2021 Technology First Leadership Awards this May. Please keep any exceptional capstone projects that you believe are worthy of nomination on your radar and submit those through the link below through March 3rd. The student finalists will be announced in April and the winner will be announced at the event on May 6th.

Technology First Student Scholarship

Applications open through March 29, 2021

Each year Technology First awards local IT students with scholarships, totaling to over $80,000 over the years. IT students are encouraged to apply by 5:00 p.m. on Monday, March 29. More information about the history of the scholarship foundation, as well as the application document can be found on the link below.
