On-Campus Recruiting
On-Campus Recruiting
The University of Dayton Career Services office offers several options for you to meet and interview our students and alumni on-campus.
On-Campus Interviews
Interviews are held in the new Employer Engagement Center with convenient parking and interview spaces with wireless Internet access. Dates are available throughout the fall and spring semesters. Schedules are entered into Handshake with your criteria, including a job description. Then, students and/or alumni meeting your minimum requirements register to interview in predetermined time-slots.
- The University of Dayton Career Services strives to provide equal and easy access to programs and services for individuals with disabilities. The Employer Engagement Center House has two floors, but does not have an elevator. Technology-enabled rooms (e.g. computer, webcam) are also available upon request. Individuals requesting accommodations are encouraged to contact Career Services (937-229-2073; employerrelations@udayton.edu).
We recommend scheduling your dates between the time frame below:
Fall Interviews (October - November) - Schedule between May 1 - August 1
Spring Interviews (February - April) - Schedule between December 1 - January 15
Open Interview Schedules
Open interviews allow all students that meet the requirements, an opportunity to sign-up for an interview time-slot on a first-come/first-serve basis until the schedule is full.
Pre-select interview schedules
Pre-select interviews allow all students that meet the requirements, an opportunity to request an interview. The company reviews the resumes of all interested applicants and invites specific students to interview. Once invited, students can sign-up for a time-slot.
room only interview schedules
Room only interviews allow an employer to reserve space for on-campus interviews and develop their own interview schedule prior to their visit to campus. Schedules may be built from resumes gathered through job postings, career fairs, tabling events or information sessions.
Company Information Sessions
Information sessions are a great avenue for you to present more detailed information about your company, benefits and the application process. We encourage you to connect with a student organization for information or professional development sessions. These sessions are typically in the evening and may or may not be connected to an on-campus interview schedule.
Tabling Event
A tabling event is an opportunity to set up a booth with promotional materials in the lobby area of one of our academic buildings. These areas have a high level of student traffic, and allow you to target specific majors by holding the event in an academic building. The setup is similar to a career fair, without the stress, and allows for a spotlight opportunity as your organization would be the only company hosting a table.
Please fill out a tabling request form to request a tabling event on-campus.
Additional Opportunities
Engage with a variety of students through resume review sessions, prior to each career fair, and mock interviews, scheduled at your convenience. Contact Career Services for additional information.
