The Career Services staff is happy to help with your career-related needs at every step of your college career. We can assist you with choosing a major, finding an internship or co-op job or finding your first full-time position. You are encouraged to make an appointment with a career advisor, who can assist you with your resume, interviewing tips, job strategy and other aspects of the job search. Career Services can help you learn the vital skills necessary for success in the job search process.
A Campus Job is More Than Just a Paycheck. It is One Step Closer to a Career.
All University of Dayton students, regardless of financial need, may apply for University-funded employment opportunities on campus. Positions are available in many on-campus departments and hourly wage is based on experience and job description. Federal work study is awarded to undergraduates who demonstrate financial need and have FAFSA results on file by May 1. Student Employment positions are posted in Handshake.

Opportunities include online job postings, career fairs and other events, on-campus interviews, company information sessions, sponsorship of student projects and research and more. Whatever your needs, Career Services is a connecting point for employers to UD students, alumni, faculty and staff.
Where Flyers Live, Work, Study and Serve Upon Graduation.
Our office, in collaboration with academic units, surveys graduating students to determine their first destinations upon leaving the university. After attempting to contact each student personally, knowledge rates, success rates and average salaries are reported annually.
