Discover Who You Are Called to Be

Callings, an early arrival program for first-year students, is rooted in our Marianist charism. As part of this six-day experience, you'll explore your faith and vocation while engaging in four key principles: learn, lead, serve and pray.

Along the way, you'll:

  • Make new friends with current and incoming students.
  • Reflect and pray.
  • Grow your leadership skills.
  • Learn about the Dayton community through service experiences.
  • Discover UD’s Marianist heritage.
  • Move in to your assigned UD housing early (if you plan to live on campus).

Callings: At a Glance

Dates: August 16-21, 2026

Audience: Incoming, first-year students

Cost:

  • $300 when you register by June 30
  • $350 when you register after June 30
  • Scholarships are available for students with financial need. Contact Emma Geckle to learn more.

Location: Lodging is at the nearby Bergamo Center. Activities are held on UD’s campus and across the Dayton area.

Registration: Opens May 27, 2026 at 1 p.m.
