The National Weather Service has issued a cold weather advisory until noon Saturday for wind chills as low as nine below zero. As cold weather persists, the University wants to remind our community about tips for protecting yourself, your residences and your property, plus dealing with winter weather. These will be posted on UD's emergency preparedness and response page, along with updates on weather alerts, event cancellations and building closures.

The University of Dayton Choral Festival is a one-day, non-competitive event designed to provide high school choirs with a meaningful collegiate choral experience. Participating ensembles rehearse and perform in a supportive, growth-focused environment while working closely with UD choral faculty. The festival is ideal preparation for OMEA Large Ensemble and offers students the opportunity to experience choral music-making on a vibrant university campus.

Highlights and Additional Information

Morning: Arrival, rehearsals and clinics
Midday: Lunch break and campus experience
Afternoon: Choir performances and UD Chorale finale

Glass Center Exterior Participating choirs will:

Rehearse and work with University of Dayton choral faculty, bringing nearly 60 years of combined experience
Perform in the state-of-the-art Roger Glass Center for the Arts Concert Hall
Receive constructive, educational feedback in a positive environment
Collaborate with University of Dayton choirs
Observe and learn from peer ensembles
