This two-part exhibit is a unique opportunity to see a private collection of Ukrainian artwork by eight innovative women icon makers as well as select materials from the Marian Library's Ukrainian Marian Collection. Visit both displays to see artwork, manuscripts, news stories and other artifacts that document devotion to Mary and highlight themes of freedom, war, resistance and devotion.

  • The Stuart and Mimi Rose Gallery (first floor of Roesch Library) features the traveling exhibit, "Women Icon Makers of West Ukraine" and is open during Roesch Library hours.
  • In the Marian Library Gallery (seventh floor of Roesch Library) you will find "Halyna Nykolyshyn’s Ukrainian Marian Legacy" showcasing the Marian Library's Ukrainian Marian Collection. This section is open 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. Please check the Marian Library calendar before visiting.

All areas of the exhibit will be closed on May 29 and June 19, 2023.
